The Matador moves in

The Matador proprietors officially took control of their space on 8th and Pacific today (there's been a hold up due to some retrofitting of the building). My boys will begin renovating the location this week, and I'll be providing them with T-Town nightlife familiarity tours after their hard-day's work. The projected opening date is now Sept. 1. Prepare yourself for fine tequila selections, metal artifacts on the walls, tables with longhorn skulls carved in via custom carpentry, hundreds of twinkle candles and a semicircular bar that surrounds a flume-covered fire pit.  My very own Feisty Kevin, one of the most famous Seattle bartenders, will be managing the joint. He wanted me to let you all know that Tacoma Kevin is on his way, and he's bringing hell with him.  I couldn't ask for anything more. — Natasha
